September 11:  Mary Tatum Piano RoomThe Mary Tatum Piano Room is now a reality and we are celebrating it with an evening of music and art. The Mary Tatum Piano Room is named for long time pianist, teacher and musician, Mary Tatum. The Piano Room was built to house the FAC’s fabulous Steinway piano. Coinciding with the opening reception for the Michael Story exhibition in the Bassett Gallery.

October 2- 4, 18th Annual Carolina Downhome Blues Festival,  This year’s Carolina Downhome Blues Festival will take place in historic downtown Camden in sites around our great little town. A blues music crawl with several intimate settings along with a great, old concert hall setting will be the setting for this year’s popular event. Known state-wide the Carolina Downhome Blues Festival is known for its variety of blues styles from all over the world. From acoustic, to Zydeco, to Blues Rock.

October 23: Love, Loss and What I WoreProving that a great show is always in fashion, Love, Loss, and What I Wore has become an international hit. With its compulsively entertaining subject matter, this intimate collection of stories by Nora and Delia Ephron celebrated an accomplished two-and-a-half year run in New York’s Westside Theatre.

December 6: 38th Candlelight Tour of Homes The Camden Junior Welfare League presents their 38th open house/holiday tour.  Collect decorating ideas, shop with local vendors, make an investment in the children of Kershaw County, eat and be merry.

December 13:  Kershaw County Christmas Parade, 10:00 am.   The second Saturday of December each year at 10 a.m., more than 3,000 spectators turn out for the Kershaw County Christmas Parade which boasts horses, fire trucks, floats, beauty queens, classic cars, dancing, music, Santa, and much, much more! Bring your friends and family to enjoy this wonderful community celebration!
